Ratan Naval Tata

Presently the chairman of the Tata Group, India largest corporation founded by Great Jamsedji Tata, Ratan Tata was born in Surat, India. Born to one of the wealthiest families of India, Ratan Tata completed his BS in architecture from Cornel University. Before joining the Tata Group in 1962 December, he also completed his Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School. As his first assignment he was sent to Tata Steel in Jamshedpur, where he worked with blue collared employees. Very shy in nature he was rarely found in social glossies. Ratan Tata has also been provided with several honoraries including the Padma Bhushan and the Padma Vibhushan.
